Privacy Policy

TKM Ventures, LLC ("we", "us", "TKM") operates Pawsona — a social and location app for dog owners. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have. We default to collecting as little as possible and never sell your data.

Data We Collect

• Account info: email address, handle, and (optionally) display name and avatar. Required to sign in and identify you.
• Dog profile: name, breed, birthday, photos, and any care details (vet, groomer, food, allergies, microchip) you choose to add. The Care Card is private to you by default and never shared publicly.
• Personality answers: your CPTI quiz responses, stored to compute and re-compute your dog's type.
• Posts, stories, comments, and boops: the content you publish to your followers or pack.
• Location: precise GPS coordinates only while a Live Walk session is active or while you're checking into a park. We do not track your location in the background outside of an active walk you started.
• Push notification tokens: a device-level identifier from Apple or Google that lets us send you alerts.
• Subscription state: if you purchase Pawsona Pro, we receive purchase status from RevenueCat (active, expired, etc.). We do not see, store, or process your payment card.
• Device & diagnostic data: minimal technical data (OS version, app version, crash logs) for stability work. We don't use third-party analytics SDKs that build advertising profiles.

How We Use It

• To run the core product — show your feed, deliver pushes, render the Live Walk map, save your dog's profile, etc.
• To compute personality matches and pack suggestions.
• To send broadcast SOS alerts to nearby users when a dog goes missing — only when you explicitly start an SOS.
• To keep the service safe — investigating reports, removing harmful content, and applying our community guidelines.

Who We Share Data With

Pawsona runs on a small set of trusted infrastructure providers. We share only what each one needs to do its job, under contract:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• RevenueCat — receipt validation and subscription state.
• MapTiler — basemap tiles for the Live Walk map (we send approximate viewport coordinates, never your identity).
• Expo / Apple / Google — push notification delivery.
• App Store / Play Store — app distribution and payments.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not share data with advertisers. We do not use third-party tracking SDKs.

Public Content

Posts, stories, dog profiles set to "public", and pack content are visible to other Pawsona users in line with the audience you choose. Your real-time walking location is visible only to other active Live Walk subscribers, only while you're walking, and you can opt out at any time inside the app.

Your Controls

• Edit or delete content any time from inside the app.
• Block and report — block any user to remove their content from your feed in either direction. Submit reports for content review.
• Delete your account — Settings → Account → Delete Account. We delete profile data, dog profiles, posts, comments, walks, and stories within 30 days. Backup copies expire within 90 days.
• Export — email info@pawsona.xyz for a copy of your data.
• Push notifications — control granularly in iOS/Android settings.
• Location — revoke location permission any time. Live Walk will stop until you re-enable it.

Children

Pawsona is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Data Retention & Security

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the service. Walks older than two years are anonymized; reports retain a non-identifying audit trail for moderation history. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS; data at rest is encrypted by our infrastructure providers.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we'll notify you in the app and update the effective date above. Continued use of Pawsona after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
